The 2024 bullion Sovereign proudly returns to its longstanding tradition and the reverse of The Sovereign features Benedetto Pistrucci’s iconic St George and the dragon design. With a legacy spanning more than 500 years, The Sovereign has featured coinage portraits of many British monarchs, and it now features the official coinage portrait of His Majesty King Charles III, following on from the inclusion of a crowned effigy version on the Coronation Sovereign.
